The Simple Machines sessions are an excellent solution for introducing students to key simple machines concepts while building concepts such as gears, pulleys, levers, wheels and axles through observation, teamwork and communication skills. The students will discover basic physical science reasoning, prediction and critical thinking.
Key Learning Values:
- observing and investigating simple machines: gears, wheels and axles, levers and pulleys
Rebuilt From the Inside Out
- following a design brief as part of the engineering design process
Extensive Demographic Studies
- investigating and working through observations, reasoning, predicting, reflecting and critical thinking
